Suspected Hit-And-Run On Walpole Island

Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate what is believed to be a serious hit-and-run incident on Walpole Island.

Just after 10pm on January 13, Walpole police, Lambton OPP and EMS responded to Chiefs Rd. N, just north of Austin Rd., where they found an injured cyclist. The 36-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The OPP say the investigation is ongoing and no suspects or suspect vehicles have been identified.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
