Farm House Goes Up In Flames

Chatham-Kent fire officials are investigating the cause of an early morning blaze at an abandoned farm house.

On Saturday around 6:30am, fire crews were called to the farm house located on Jane Rd., in Thamesville.

The fire caused approximately $40,000 worth of damages.

Residents are being told to keep an eye out for fires at abandoned locations and report them to the authorities.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
