Shooting Inside Quebec Mosque Kills Six

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is calling a fatal mass shooting inside a Quebec City mosque an act of terrorism.

"We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a centre of worship and refuge," the Prime Minister said in a statement issued after Sunday night's attack on the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Centre. "It is heart-wrenching to see such senseless violence."

Police say six people were shot and killed, and eight others injured. Two people have since been taken into custody.

Police say the victims were between the ages of 35 and 70.
