Blenheim Robbery Suspect Arrested

A man wanted in connection to a gas station robbery in Blenheim last month has been arrested.

Back on January 18, police released images of a man who entered the Esso station on Chatham St. S at around 3:30pm, and pointed what appeared to be a gun at the clerk.

The suspect demanded cash and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was not hurt.

Officers were able to identify a suspect Wednesday morning, and arrested a 21-year-old Blenheim man. He has been charged with robbery.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the public for its assistance with this investigation.
