Mild February On Tap

Environment Canada says we're in for another mild winter month in February.

Meteorologist Mark Schuster tells BlackburnNews.com that temperatures this month are also likely going to be above average and snowfall is going to be below normal.

Schuster says this January was among the mildest on record and adds that February is going to be similar to January.

Normal highs for this time of year are 0 C and lows are minus 8 C.

Tuesday's high is 12 C.

Schuster says it maybe mild this month but don't forget it's still winter, adding "you could easily get Arctic outbreaks even into March sometime."

Schuster reminds us that spring isn't for another two months yet.
