Police Find Cocaine, Meth During Traffic Stop

Chatham-Kent police have taken thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs off the streets after a traffic stop just west of Chatham turned into a drug bust.

Police say officers pulled a vehicle over Tuesday night on Queens Line near Dillon Rd. as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

While the vehicle was pulled over, police executed a search warrant and found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and cash inside.

Investigators say the drugs have a combined value of around $95,000.

A 26-year-old Sarnia man, a 24-year-old Sarnia woman, and a 21-year-old Chatham man were all arrested and charged with drug-related offences. They are all being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
