Nursing Home Employee Arrested

An employee with Blenheim Community Village has been charged following an incident at the nursing home.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service says the employee was arrested on February 17 at around 7pm.

The employee, a 26-year-old Windsor man, has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.

He has been released from custody with a court date of March 17.

Police say an investigation is ongoing and police cannot confirm if the man is still an employee at Blenheim Community Village.
