Police Seek New Suspect In Armed Robbery

Chatham-Kent police are releasing new photos of a suspect in an armed robbery in Chatham.

Police say just after 11pm on February 21, a man produced a weapon and demanded cash at Charlie’s Variety Store on Park Ave.  An employee was injured during the robbery and needed surgery.

Investigators initially circulated a photo of a possible suspect a couple of days after the robbery, but have since determined that person is not a suspect. Pictures of a new suspect can be viewed below.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
