New Habitat Family

Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent is introducing this year's partner family on Wednesday.

The Blenheim family's name will be announced at 4:30pm, at 106 Sherman St., in Blenheim.

Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent was founded in 2009 and helps people in need find a safe and decent place to live.

This will be Habitat's fourth build in Chatham-Kent. It's part of a Canada-wide initiative, which will see Habitat for Humanity build 150 homes in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
