Delays On Hwy. 401 Near Mull Rd. After Crash

Hwy. 401 near Mull Rd. is open again, after a single-vehicle crash involving two tractor trailers.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 7:30am, an eastbound tractor trailer lost control, crossed through the centre median and came to rest in the westbound passing lane. To avoid a collision, a westbound tractor trailer also entered the centre median.

The westbound lanes of the highway were briefly shut down to pull the eastbound transport truck out of the centre median. The closure brought traffic to a crawl.

No injuries were reported.
