Michael Vieira led Essex with two goals, while Tyler Scott, Anthony Cristofaro, Dalton Langlois, Michael Ruttinger and Eric Shaw scored one goal each.
Ameen Fadel, Brandon Ireland and Guy Levesque all scored once for Lakeshore.
The 73's beat the Canadiens 4-0 in the best-of-seven series.
Essex now moves on to the West Conference Finals.
