Police have confirmed that a 29-year-old Chatham-Kent woman who was involved in a single-vehicle crash near Huff Side Rd. between Kent Bridge and Thamesville at around 4:30pm on March 14, 2017 has died.
She was rushed to a London hospital with life threatening injuries after the crash.
Police say the woman was the only person inside the vehicle at the time.
No names have been released.
Local runners will lace up this weekend in support of cancer research.
Over 40 candidates are competing for a spot on the Walpole Island First Nation band council in the upcoming election on Saturday, September 19.
The event was originally planned to commemorate Corunna almost becoming the capital of Canada.
A meet the candidates night is planned on Monday, September 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community and Youth Centre.
The series will bring both aspiring and established business owners together on Tuesday evenings at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre.
Gates for the three-day fair will open at the Wyoming Fair Grounds on Main Street on Friday, September 18, at 5 p.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m.
