Five people, including a police officer and the man who attacked him, are dead after a terror attack near the British Parliament.
The National Post reports that a man plowed a car into pedestrians on London’s Westminster Bridge on Wednesday, before stabbing a police officer to death inside the gates of Parliament. The man was then shot by police.
The officer, three civilians and the attacker were all killed. About 40 other people were also injured. Some of the injuries are described as "catastrophic."

The attack came on the first anniversary of the airport and subway attacks in Brussels. Those attacks killed 32 people and injured hundreds of others.
