Dozens Of CK Students Suspended For Incomplete Immunization Records

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit says 158 local students were suspended Tuesday because they don't have complete immunization records.

The deadline for vaccinations was Monday night but Public Health Nurse Dan Drouillard says it's not too late to get back to school.

He says people can call 519-355-1071 ext. 5900 to reports shots, book an appointment or for more information.

Shots can also be reported online at chatham-kent.ca/vaccinations or faxed to 519-355-0848.

Exemptions are also available upon request.

Drouillard expects the issue to be cleared by the end of the week.

Almost 2,000 suspension notices were mailed out in mid-January.
