Dawn-Euphemia Fire Victims Identified

Lambton OPP have identified two bodies discovered in a January house fire.

The early morning blaze at the Marthaville Rd. home January 29 broke out around 2:30am.

Constable Travis Parsons says the deceased have been identified as 54-year-old Cindy Lou Beyea and 61-year-old Malcom McKinnon, both of Dawn-Euphemia Township.

"Upon conclusion of the OPP investigation, we have determined that there's no foul play suspected, however the cause of the fire is still under investigation," says Parsons.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office continues to investigate.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
