OPP: Buckle Up This Easter Long Weekend

The OPP are conducting their Seat Belt Campaign over the Easter Long Weekend.

The campaign runs every year.

Officials say unbuckled vehicle occupants continue to lose their lives and seat belt education and enforcement continues to be a traffic safety priority for the OPP.

Provincial police says road users can expect to see high police visibility as the OPP carries out its seat belt campaign April 14th to the 17th.

Officers hope to see all drivers and passengers buckled up as well as children safely restrained.
