Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services says on Monday morning, firefighters responded to the campground to find heavy flames coming from the trailer and attached wood awning.
Fire crews were able to get the blaze under control quickly, and no one was injured.
Damage to the trailer is estimated at around $30,000.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
