UPDATE: Hwy. 401 Crash Sends One To Hospital

One person has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a commercial vehicle crash on Hwy. 401 near Orford Rd.

Chatham-Kent OPP say a tractor trailer going westbound on Hwy. 401, lost control Sunday morning around 3am. The tractor trailer ended up on its side, blocking both westbound lanes.

The westbound lanes on Hwy. 401 between Furnival Rd. and Orford Rd. were closed for several hours during the investigation. The road was reopened to traffic Sunday afternoon around 3pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
