Wallaceburg Four-Way Stop Going Down To Two

Drivers who are looking to avoid construction on Hwy. 40 in Wallaceburg should soon have a quicker option.

A release from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent says the all-way stop at the intersection of Murray St. and Reaume Ave. is going to be removed on May 12 and replaced with a two-way stop. Both of the remaining stop signs will be on Reaume Ave.

Pedestrians who are looking to cross Murray St. will be able to use a new pedestrian crossover signal that is being installed at the intersection.

Signs have been posted warning motorists who are approaching the stop signs on Reaume St. that drivers on Murray will no longer be required to stop at the intersection.
