June 22 Celebration At Gateway Dresden

The new operator of Dresden slots is holding a customer celebration next month.

June 22nd, Gateway Casinos and Entertainment will have promotions and prizes, live entertainment, Gateway merchandise giveaways and food and drink specials at all of their sites in Ontario.

VP of Communications, Carrie Kormos, says it will be a fun day.

"We really look forward to welcoming our customers, we hope they come out and see us so we can get to know some of the new folks that we will be working with and our customers," says Kormos.

Gateway plans to spend $200 million in Southwestern Ontario to improve customer experience but it's unclear how much will be invested at Dresden Raceway.

Kormos says staff members are looking forward to meeting the customers.

"Our site development plans and the big changes aren't quite ready yet but we have lots of exciting stuff planned before that and we hope folks will come and enjoy," Kormos says.

Kormos says the daylong celebration is part of the new Ontario beginning for Gateway.

"It's been a lot of work but we couldn't be more excited and now we're just looking forward to getting to know our new colleagues as well as our new customers," says Kormos.
