Safe Boating Week Is Coming

The Chatham-Kent OPP Marine Unit, Chatham-Kent Police Service and the Canadian Coast Guard will be promoting boat safety on Friday.

Officers will be hosting an interactive display at the westbound Tilbury OnRoute Service Centre between 9am and 2pm.

The public is invited to stop by and speak with officers about safe boating practices.

Safe boating week is May 20 to 26.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
