Ridgetown Crash Witness Sought

Police are looking for a man who witnessed a vehicle crash into a Ridgetown store front.

On Tuesday at 3:12am, a car crashed into the front of Bailey Saddlery on Main St. and Albert Ave., but no one was inside the vehicle when officers arrived.

Through investigation, police learned that a man in a light coloured pickup truck was briefly parked in the Foodland parking lot around the same time the collision occurred.

This man, who is a potential witness, was seen approaching the driver involved in the collision to check on his well-being and investigators would like to speak with him.

Damage is pegged at $50,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
