Two New Residents Join The CKHA

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is adding two new family medicine residents to its staff.

For the next two years Dr. Adam McDowall and Dr. Aaron Gross will complete their medical training at the CKHA, learning from local physicians.

According to a media release from the CKHA, McDowall studied at McMaster University where he earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences. He also studied at the University of Toronto, where he received his Doctor of Medicine.

"I have continuously heard wonderful praise for the staff and atmosphere at [the] CKHA and from day one everyone has been so welcoming and friendly in the local community," said McDowall in a statement. "I'm very grateful for the opportunity to start the next chapter of my medical career here in Chatham-Kent."

Gross completed his studies at the University of Waterloo for Biomedical Sciences and earned a Doctor of Medicine at Western University.

"I'm excited to continue my medical training, join the community of Chatham-Kent, and having a chance to care for patients in many different settings over the next two years," said Gross. "I really appreciate the warm welcome I have received already."

McDowall and Gross will be joining a few second-year family medicine residents at the teaching facility.
