Unifor Local 127 and Dajcor Aluminum Ltd. have ratified a four-year deal.
Nicole Grainger, president of Unifor Local 127, says a ratification vote was held on Saturday and passed with 62% support.
She says deal gives worker job security, a raise, and an increase to benefits and life insurance policies.
"We were happy to secure the jobs we have here and any additional jobs that may be added," says Grainger. "We also got a substantial increase for skilled trades."
Moving forward, Grainger says the manufacturing company will be hiring more people.
However, it's unknown how many people the company will look to hire and when the process will take place.
