New Flight From London To Cuba

Londoners looking to escape the cold and snow this winter will now be able to fly direct from the city to Cayo Coco, Cuba.

Sunwing announced on Monday it will offer the new flight service from the London International Airport to Cayo Coco, Cuba beginning December 20.

The direct flight will run each Wednesday until March 28, 2018.

"Cayo Coco is a wonderful destination in Cuba and is always high on the list of southern destinations when we survey vacationers in the London area" said Mike Seabrook, President and CEO of London International Airport. "This Cuban destination coupled with the excellent service that we have come to expect from Sunwing should make this new flight a complete success."

The addition of the Cayo Coco flight brings the number of direct seasonal flights offered by Sunwing from London to three. It also flies direct from London to Varadero, Cuba and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Known for its white-sand beaches and 10km long coral reef, Cayo Coco is a tropical island in the Jardines del Rey chain, off central Cuba. It has the largest colony of pink flamingos in the world.
