U.S. Driver Gets Nabbed By OPP Along CK 401 Construction Zone

A driver has been charged along the Hwy. 401 construction zone in Chatham.

The OPP spotted an eastbound vehicle doing 140 km/hr around 1pm on Thursday along the 401 near Charing Cross Rd.

Authorities say this is an area where Hwy. 401 eastbound begins to merge into one lane through the construction zone and where workers are present.

A 33-year-old man from Illinois has been charged with several offences including careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
