Ontario Provincial Police say the incident occurred around noon Saturday. A Toyota van and a Freightliner truck collided at the intersection Essex County Rds 34 and 37, just east of Leamington.
Two adults and three children were transported to hospital with assorted injuries, including some believed to be life-threatening.
