Crash Knocks Out Power Near Ridgetown

A motor vehicle collision is getting the blame for knocking out the power near Ridgetown overnight.

Chatham-Kent Police Service says a single-vehicle lost control on Golf Course Line around 11pm Monday night and struck a hydro pole.

No injuries were reported, but the power was out overnight for about 50 Hydro One customers in the area.

The power was restored around 2pm on Tuesday.
