UPDATE: Power Restored South Of Chatham

Power has been fully restored to residents south of Chatham.

Hydro One and Entegrus were reporting a power outage for those in the Pain Court, North Buxton, and Merlin areas Tuesday afternoon. About 2,162 Hydro One customers were affected by the outage, while only a couple of Entegrus customers were without power.

The power was originally expected to be restored by 4:15pm, but the lights were turned on about an hour earlier than expected.

There's no word yet on what caused the power outage.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
