Good Health Walk Fundraiser

The 3rd Annual Good Health Walk takes place Saturday in Blenheim.

Organizer Dr. Jamie Richards, says the event raises awareness about health.

"I know that sounds pretty generic, but that's something that goes overlooked in the world of raising awareness about different disease conditions, which is great. There are some great charities out there, great organizations. But where is the walk for health, where is the awareness for just being healthy and just living healthy?"

The cost is $15, but all of the money raised will go to three different local organizations, the Blenheim Youth Centre, YMCA Kids, and the May Court Club of Chatham.

"So you can either walk it, would be the first tier," says Dr. Richards. "You could run it if you wanted to, and then there's challenges along the way if you want to make it more difficult."

Registration for the walk gets underway at 10:30 am at the B-Fit Trail on Chatham St. in Blenheim. For more information, CLICK HERE.
