Chatham Robbery Suspect On The Loose

There's been a robbery in Chatham and police need your help to find the suspect.

Investigators say a man, armed with a golf club, entered Harvey St. Variety Thursday around 8:30pm and demanded cash from the store clerk.

The female clerk’s husband was able to scare the man off before he could steal anything.

No one was injured.

The suspect was last seen running north on Library Lane wearing a white hoodie, a black mask covering his face, gloves, black sweat pants with red stripes down the side, and black sandals.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
