Three More Days Of 'Summer'

The summer-like heat that has blanketed southwestern Ontario will stick around for a few more days.

A heat warning issued by Environment Canada is still in effect for all of the region, London-Middlesex, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor-Essex is still in effect.

Daytime temperatures are expected to eclipse 30 C on Monday and Tuesday with humidex readings likely to reach 40 C. Wednesday will still be unseasonably warm, but the high temperature is expected to hit the high 20s.

Fall weather will arrive late Wednesday as a cold front moves into the region. Overnight temperatures will fall to 12 C to 13 C and Thursday's high is expected to around 20 C.

Weather records fell across the region on the weekend, as temperatures climbed above 30 C and humid conditions made things feel more like mid-July than late September.
