Chatham Maroons Help Fight Breast Cancer

The Chatham Maroons are raising money and awareness for breast cancer.

The Maroons’ "Breast Cancer Awareness Night" is October 29.

The team will be auctioning their Maroons’ pink jerseys and raffling off several pink items to help raise money for this cause.

The Maroons have raised just over $13,000 over the past four years for the 'Breast Buddies' dragon boat team and the Canadian Cancer Society.

The dragon boat team is an enthusiastic group of breast cancer survivors which competes in several festivals each year to promote awareness of a quality of life after breast cancer.
