UPDATE: Environment Canada Ends Wind Warning

Environment Canada has ended the wind warning that was issued for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, and London-Middlesex.

The weather agency released a special weather statement on Saturday, calling for significant winds of 60 km/hr and wind gusts up to 80 km/hr. The weather statement reported that some stronger wind gusts could exceed 80 km/hr in some areas north of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, as well as over higher terrain.

Environment Canada warned that these powerful winds may pick up and toss loose objects, potentially causing injury or damage.
