CK Police Arrest Lottery Ticket Thief

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a suspected lottery ticket thief.

Sunday at around 9:45pm, police went to Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg to investigate a theft of lottery tickets. Police say the suspect stole lottery tickets from a local business, without any attempt to pay.

Through investigation, officers found and arrested the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man. He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where he is being held for a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
