UPDATE: Police Investigating Fatal Crash On Queens Line

Chatham-Kent police have confirmed that a 24-year-old Wyoming man has died and a 22-year old Chatham man is in the hospital with serious injuries, following a head-on crash on Queens Line.

At this point, no names are being released.

Police say the crash took place on Queens Line near Sinclair Rd. early Tuesday morning in foggy conditions, but they have not determined whether fog was a factor in the crash.

Queens Line between the Hwy. 401 on-ramps and Merlin Rd. was closed for several hours Tuesday morning. The road re-opened Tuesday afternoon at 1pm. However, the investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
