General Manager Ritch Kanally says he wishes them all the best in the future but a change was needed.
"This year is crucial for the Lakers and after losing the last six games and with nearly 25% of the season gone, we needed to make a change," says Kanally.
Kanally says John Hartig from Port Huron with take over behind the bench.
