Charges Laid In Hwy. 401 Rollover

A 50-year-old Windsor man has been charged with careless driving after a tractor-trailer rolled over on Hwy. 401 at Merlin Rd.

Chatham-Kent OPP says the single-vehicle crash happened early Tuesday morning, around 2am.

Police say the commercial vehicle lost control, went through the guardrail, and rolled onto its side.

The driver had minor injuries.

Police say the westbound lane was temporarily closed. Crews were working to empty the trailer of the truck Tuesday afternoon, before they towed it from the scene.
