CK Police Arrest Five Alleged Drug Dealers

Five people are facing drug-related charges after Chatham-Kent police searched a home in Chatham Wednesday night.

Police say they found cocaine, magic mushrooms, marijuana, and hydromorphone while they were searching a residence at an undisclosed location in Chatham.

Officers also seized some digital scales, some drug-related equipment, and approximately $5,200 in cash.

As a result of their investigation, police arrested four men aged 27, 29, 32, and 34 and one 34-year-old woman. They're each charged with five drug-related offences including drug trafficking.

Police say four of the accused have been released with conditions and a future court date -- one of the men has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
