Weather Network Predicts Cold And Rainy Halloween

The Weather Network is calling for a cold, and possibly rainy Halloween night for most of southwestern Ontario.

After experiencing mild temperatures for most of the fall, meteorologist Michael Carter says temperatures will be more seasonal on and around October 31.

"Along with those seasonal, cool temperatures, we are going to have some scattered showers around Monday and Tuesday. Those are going to be lake enhanced showers so the closer you are to the lake shore the greater chance you have of seeing those," says Carter.

He expects highs of 8 C or 46 F in the afternoon, and that will drop after sunset. The average temperature is around 12 C or 54 F.

"We are going to see some widespread, fairly strong, blustery winds on Monday and Tuesday so it might make things feel even a little bit cooler than the thermometer says in the early part of next week," says Carter.

Carter admits the forecast could change a little as the day approaches.
