The Chatham-Kent fire department says firefighters from Bothwell and Thamesville were called at around 9:30am on Wednesday and found the house at Haggerty Rd. near Johnston Rd. fully engulfed by flames.
No one was home at the time of the fire and there are no injuries.
The cause is still under investigation.
As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.
