New Look At CKHA's Cafe

Residents waiting to see a doctor at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance's (CKHA) Chatham location can now enjoy food and beverages at the renovated cafe.

The CKHA unveiled its "new and refreshed look" of Cafe Grand on Thursday.

Renovations first started in the cafeteria with fire separation walls and an upgraded sprinkler system, and ended with a new "industrial look" in the cafe's area.

"I'd like to thank our committed team who created this wonderful refresh of our existing cafeteria," said CKHA President and CEO Lori Marshall in a media release. "With these recent renovations we expect the cafeteria to serve the needs of our patients and their families, our staff, and the community."

In addition to the new look, favourite dishes are coming back on the menu as requested by visitors.

The cafe is located in the public general hospital wing and is open from 8am-2pm.
