Construction Sites Targeted By Thieves

Thefts from construction sites in Chatham-Kent appear to be on the rise yet again.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers says there has been an increase in thefts reported from new home construction sites over the past few weeks.

"The theft of tools and construction materials affects everyone with higher insurance premiums and delays new home construction," as stated in a media release.

Crime Stoppers is asking residents who live near construction sites to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
