Maroons & Lakers Help Fight Cancer

The Chatham Maroons and Wallaceburg Lakers have raised money to fight cancer.

The Maroons raised $2,900 at their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The team auctioned pink game jerseys October 29.

The money is being shared by Breast Buddies, a dragon boat racing team, and the Chatham-Kent Canadian Cancer Society.

The event has raised a total of $15,000 over the past 5 years.
