Fewer Cabs In Chatham After New Year's

Radio Cabs in Chatham is closing.

Spokesperson Ray Wolting says the last day of operations will be December 31.

Wolting says "the upcoming minimum wage increase put them out of business."

He says "the company can't afford the minimum wage hike and increasing cab fares would make them unaffordable for clients."

Wolting says about 25 employees will be out of a job come New Year's Day and he feels so bad that he can't sleep.

Chatham will be down to two cab companies after Radio Cabs shuts down.
