Flood Watch In Effect

The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for Erie Shore Dr.

Environment Canada is predicting strong winds to create strong waves in Lake Erie.

"Environment Canada’s Marine Forecast is predicting wave heights to build to 2 m by noon [Friday]," as stated in a media release from the LTVCA.

The local conservation authority says residents living along Lake Erie should prepare for some flooding to occur. The flood watch is in effect until November 26.

Conservation officials are encouraging people to stay away from the shoreline as it may be slippery.
