A Wallaceburg girl is spreading some holiday cheer to other boys and girls this Christmas.
Emma-Lynn Wilbur just celebrated her 9th birthday and donated her gifts to the Chatham Goodfellows. Emma goes to St. Elizabeth School in Wallaceburg and donated the gifts to the 2017 “No Child Without a Christmas” campaign.
"There are kids out there that don't have a Christmas and I thought it would be nice if I could give a Christmas to a child,' says Emma.
The campaign's toy packing is December 11 to the 14th at 463 St. Clair St. and the toys get delivered December 18.
Emma says it's better to give than to receive.
"My mom said one day, hey Emma do you want to donate your presents and I said yes that would be great," Emma says.
Emma's mom, Kristy, says she's very proud of her daughter.
"I'm super proud of her generous heart and we're going to be helping pack all the boxes for the families and she's super excited and I hope to see lots of volunteers out helping," says Kristy.
