CK Hospice Foundation Gets Big Grant

The Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation recently received $15,000 from the "Pretty in Pink" Dover Ladies Group.

The group hosted several events throughout the year to benefit the foundation. Some of the events include a Quarter Auction, Tractor Pull, golf tournament, and their Annual Fall Dinner Dance at Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Pain Court.

“We are so grateful for the continued support from the wonderful women in Pretty in Pink”, says Jodi Maroney, Executive Director of the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. “They have been generous supporters of the Hospice since the very beginning and have made a huge impact in our community by helping us provide compassionate end-of-life care to families from across Chatham-Kent”.

The foundation's annual fundraising goal is $850,000.  The Chatham-Kent Hospice is a 10-bed residential facility that offers care for residents facing end of life and support for their loved ones. Since opening in 2016, the hospice has served over 350 families.
