Snowmobile Versus ATV Crash Kills One Person, Seriously Injures Another

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after an ATV collided with a snowmobile, killing one person and seriously injuring another.

Police say the incident occurred shortly after 5pm on Sunday on the Sydenham River in Wallaceburg.

One of the drivers, a 34-year-old Wallaceburg man, is seriously injured in the hospital, but is expected to recover. The other driver, a 32-year-old Brantford man, has died.

The investigation is on-going.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
