First Baby Of 2018 Born At CKHA

A Chatham woman has given birth to the municipality's first baby of 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Chatham residents Kristen Morin and Aaron Jubenville welcomed a healthy baby girl at 12:47pm on Tuesday.

The couple named their daughter Scarlett Olivia Jubenville.

"I was surprised because we're into January 2 already. I figured the New Years baby would have been born on New Year's day... so it's pretty exciting," says mother Kristen.

Scarlett is the couple's second child.
